The Crusaders soccer players reached success with teamwork that beat as one heart with a shared goal- to win!

Our students had a victorious season working together as a team as their commitment to the sport of soccer paid off win after win. Through dedicated training sessions, the Crusaders attended many practices with their coach in order to better themselves and perfect their performance and technique on the field. Soccer provides a very effective way to stay fit and improve cardiovascular health. Our students enjoyed the chance to participate in a group sport allowing for healthy competition and physical athleticism. Most importantly, our students competed with a Christ-like attitude and shone out as representatives in a Godly way, making our school proud of their good sportsmanship.

Soccer has many health benefits and makes for a great team activity. Just a few of the many great benefits include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • increases aerobic capacity and cardiovascular health
  • lowers body fat and improves muscle tone
  • builds strength, flexibility and endurance
  • increases muscle and bone strength
  • improves health due to shifts between walking, running and sprinting.

A perfect method for eliminating stress and anxiety, soccer teaches coordination and helps to increase skills in concentration, persistence and self-discipline. In addition, soccer can provide an opportunity to increase your confidence and self-esteem, and help to reduce anxiety

Soccer is very popular around the world and it is played both recreationally and competitively. Playing a basic game of soccer doesn’t require a large number of people and can be as simple as having a kick with friends. Our students look forward to playing again next season and we are definitely proud of their first-year success!

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.
